Lehigh Carbon Community College’s School of Healthcare Sciences offers quality healthcare programs, including Professional Nursing, Practical Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Health Information Technology, Medical Assistant, and Veterinary Technician. Whether you are planning to transfer to a four-year college or start your career right away, the School of Healthcare Sciences has an academic program to meet your needs.
Programs in the School of Healthcare Sciences are fully accredited and have excellent employment rates. The pass rates of our graduates on national certification and licensure exams exceed both state and national averages. Our programs are academically rigorous and the curriculum includes extensive clinical work, field work, and professional experience. Student clubs in the School of Healthcare Sciences include a chapter of the Student Nurses of PA (SNAP), Student Practical Nurses Organization, Physical Therapists Assistant Club, Occupational Therapy Assistant Club, and Vet Tech Club.
Our Healthcare Sciences programs can be completed on a part-time or full-time basis. Advising is offered to students on program and course selection, career choices, and transfer opportunities.
