FT, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Must be able to work 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during peak registration months.

Salary Ranges

$16.75 to $21.73
Salary is restricted to above range and will not exceed the maximum of the range. Salary offers are non negotiable and offers are determined and are based upon related work experience submitted on resume.

The position will serve as a resource and/or guide to assist students through the various steps required to become a registered LCCC student. The Enrollment Generalist performs varied general clerical and receptionist duties to maintain the operation of the site office while working closely with students seeking admission into the college, completing placement testing, financial aid paperwork, and enrollment into courses. Externally, this position will concentrate on greeting and welcoming students/visitors and community members. Internally, this position will focus on providing support to the Offices of Admissions, Advising, Business, Financial Aid, Registration/Student Records, and Testing Center. This position will report directly to the Site Supervisor-Donley Center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a guide for students who have applied for admission, assisting them through the necessary steps to complete the registration process.
  • Guides English Language Learners (ELL) as they navigate the non-credit and credit application process
  • Proctors computer-based college placement tests, makeup exams, and distance learning tests.
  • Accesses, inputs, and retrieves information from computer systems.
  • Schedules students for Placement Testing, Financial Aid, Admissions, and Advising appointments.
  • Stays updated with deadlines, regulations, and policies regarding financial aid, tuition payment, and class registration.
  • Directs students and visitors to campus resources, offices and services when they need further assistance achieving their academic goals.
  • Assist with inventory, stock, and usage data for the Donley Center’s Cougar Cabinet program.
  • Accepts tuition, non-credit registration, and student fee payments.
  • Welcomes visitors and prospective students and directs them to proper classrooms/offices.
  • Guides students during College events at assigned sites, such as Open House, FAFSA workshops, Summer Information Sessions, and other student programs.
  • Performs clerical functions and office organization.
  • Reports equipment and building maintenance/repairs to the Donley Center Site Supervisor.
  • Updates Enrollment Generalist operations manual
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Foreign degrees – must provide a US equivalency report of your degree credentials with your transcript, if not, your resume will not be accepted.

Certifications

  • Act 153 Clearances (Act 34 PA Criminal Background, Act 151 PA Child Abuse History, Act 114 FBI Clearance Fingerprinting)

 Work Experience:

  • Two years of office experience to perform the essential duties of the job successfully. Must have experience working directly in a fast-paced office setting and the ability to work with frequent interruptions.
  • Must have the ability to adjust to various work responsibilities and schedules as necessary.
  • Must be familiar with Google Workspace, MS Office, and operating general office equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Bilingual (Spanish), must be able to speak, read, and write in Spanish.
  • Must be able to preserve the confidentiality of student records and materials.
  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills to interact positively with students, parents, faculty, and staff.
  • Must possess a high level of the following work skills and behaviors: teamwork/cooperation, initiative, customer service, and commitment to continuous professional growth in skills and knowledge.

 Preferred:

  • Higher education experience.
  • Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
