Salary is restricted to above range and will not exceed the maximum of the range. Salary offers are non negotiable and offers are determined and are based upon related work experience submitted on resume.

Reports directly to the Assistant Director of Returning Adults & Veteran Services. This position will participate in a highly customer-service-oriented environment and maximize the utilization of the Salesforce/TargetX recruitment platform, assist in the planning and organizing Adults & Veterans events, implement the recruitment territories assigned, and fulfill the Admissions Department mission and goals. This position recruits and works with students, both credit and non-credit, of diversified backgrounds for fall, winter, spring, and summer semesters. Works collaboratively across departments, including Non-Credit and Workforce, to guide and assist prospective students through onboarding. Occasional weekends and/or later evening hours and flexibility desired.

Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and Prepare

  • Review, revise and implement recruitment territories with the supervisor annually. This includes employers in Lehigh County.
  • Develop and implement an annual month-to-month recruitment schedule, including adult & Veteran yearly activities.
  • Create and develop new student records based on recruitment visits and follow up regularly with leads, prospects, and applicant students.
  • Assist in preparing lists of inquiries or intake of non-credit students.

Implementation

  • Serve as initial contact and provide prospective students information on academic programs and services in TargetX/Salesforce. Students may include those for non-credit programs.
  • Recruit students from an assigned territory, which may include personal visits to companies or local employers to participate in on-site recruiting events, conducting presentations, and other events as requested.
  • Recruit and onboard students from the Non-credit to Credit programs.
  • Conduct admission interviews for interested students and provide information on the application process, placement testing, New Student Onboarding (NSO), Academic Advising, financial aid, and registration.
  • Ensure prospective students are scheduled for placement testing, NSO, or advising appointments and complete their FAFSA.
  • Answer and log incoming calls and emails about transcripts, placement testing, NSO, registration, programs, and other related areas. Logs incoming calls and emails in TargetX/Salesforce student records to develop a history of communications.
  • Participate in admissions events, including open house, virtual & in-person information sessions, nursing information sessions, and other events as assigned.
  • Support Assistant Director of Returning Adults and Veterans in organizing veterans programs events, attending veteran club meetings, and attending conferences and events that support the veteran/military population such as LVMAC and ceremonial programs as assigned.
  • Community-based outreach includes Career Link visits, Just Born, Dr. Pepper, and other places as assigned.

Assessment

  • Utilize the TargetX/Salesforce dashboard and reporting modules to evaluate yield or conversion rates from inquiry applicant to enrollment stage.

Other Duties

  • Develop a relationship with the community by giving presentations/orientations about LCCC to community service agencies as requested.
  • Work in a team environment and collaborate with staff to meet enrollment goals.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

Required

Education

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Foreign degrees – must provide a US equivalency report of your degree credentials with your transcript, if not, your resume will not be accepted.

Certifications

  • Act 153 Clearances (Act 34 PA Criminal Background, Act 151 PA Child Abuse History, Act 114 FBI Clearance Fingerprinting).

Work Experience

  • Must demonstrate ability to work within a team-oriented environment, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and have experience in public speaking with the ability to develop engaging presentations.
  • Self-directed and must demonstrate a keen understanding of effective customer service concepts.
  • Must possess the ability to work in a collaborative environment, possess an attention to detail, and have an appreciation for community college educational resources and opportunities.

  • Must possess a high level of the following work skills and behaviors: teamwork/cooperation, initiative, customer service, and commitment to continuous professional growth in skills and knowledge.

 Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Community college and/or college admissions experience.
  • CRM experience is a plus.
