$77,256 - $98,788 - Salary is restricted to above range and will not exceed the maximum of the range. Salary offers are non negotiable and offers are determined and are based upon related work experience submitted on resume.

This position will report to the Vice President for Enrollment Management & Sites and lead the Admissions and Recruitment teams. Responsible for implementing initiatives related to enrollment in the Institutional Strategic Plan and the Enrollment Management Plan, the Executive Director will provide daily oversight of enrollment management services operations and ensure staff goals are set and met through the use of best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Admissions and Recruitment teams, including supervising six direct reports and their teams.
  • Works closely with Academic Advising, Enrollment and other Student Services departments.
  • Develop an annual recruitment territory plan.
  • Assist with developing and implementing the College’s Enrollment Management Plan.
  • Develop and utilize transactional reports to monitor the effectiveness of the recruitment and retention initiatives.
  • Work with Institutional Research to develop reports and analytics on recruitment and enrollment trends to determine enrollment strategies and initiatives.
  • Develop Group Assignment as outlined in the Admissions recruitment territory plan in TargetX.
  • Set the recruitment and enrollment goals and initiatives of the team and frequently monitor progress.
  • Develop annual Admissions events, e.g. info sessions, open house, etc.
  • Develop relationships with community-based organizations.
  • Partner with the local CareerLink and other governmental agencies
  • Recruit for both the non-credit and credit programs
  • Ensure the college’s technology and recruitment tools are adequate to achieve enrollment goals.
  • Guide the implementation of technology to improve the efficiencies within the enrollment management areas.
  • Motivate the team to ensure high levels of student access and success.
  • Conduct staff appraisals.
  • Carries out special projects as assigned. 

Qualifications:

Required

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution 
  • Foreign degrees – must provide a US equivalency report of your degree credentials with your transcript, if not, your resume will not be accepted.

Certifications

  • Act 153 Clearances (Act 34 PA Criminal Background, Act 151 PA Child Abuse History, Act 114 FBI Clearance Fingerprinting) 

Work Experience

  • Minimum of five or more years of direct experience working in a college’s admissions or enrollment management department.
  • Experience with developing effective marketing and recruitment plans
  • Experience with developing both transactional and analytical reports.
  • In-depth knowledge of student information systems for admissions and recruitment efforts.

  • Ability to understand and utilize computer information systems.
  • Ability to relate effectively and diplomatically with all levels of personnel at the college, and outside contacts.
  • Self-motivation and discipline to regularly set and achieve work goals.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and networking skills with large groups as well as with individuals.
  • Must possess a high level of the following work skills and behaviors: teamwork/cooperation, initiative, customer services and commitment to continuous professional growth in skills and knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited institution or additional credentials related to higher education and/or enrollment management
  • Community college work experience
  • Ellucian Banner Knowledge and Customer Relations Management Systems
  • Bilingual
  • One Stop Enrollment Services Experience
