This quick start in teacher education will get you onto the pathway as a secondary school teacher. This quick start will walk you through the clearances and professional actions needed to start to working in a school. You will be introduced to the history and theory of how education and special education impact the lives of our most important generations. You will also have a chance to develop the general education requirements needed for an educator while learning about the human psyche and the social world around us.

Immediate Outcomes: get the introductory skills in Education to start as a teacher’s assistant

Extended Pathway: seamlessly continue to an associate’s degree in Education and continue on to a bachelor of arts in Secondary Education for teacher certification
