Lehigh Valley Military Affairs Council Scholarship
Summary
Since its inception, LVMAC has awarded 153 scholarships to local military personnel, early enlistees, JROTC graduates and the sons and daughters of veterans and military personnel. This year $16,000 is available for scholarships with the amount of the scholarship to be decided on an individual basis of need by the scholarship selection committee.

Requirements
- Open to applicants of Lehigh and Northampton Counties:
- Veterans of working age seeking meaningful first-time civilian employment
- Veterans of working age seeking meaningful re-employment due to job loss
- Children, whether of a military veteran or not, who enrolled in Advanced ROTC at a college or university for the purpose of completing an active duty commitment
- Graduating high school seniors, whether of a military veteran or not, who are joining an ROTC detachment upon entering college or university and intend to serve an active duty commitment
- Children and un-remarried spouses of service members killed in action
- Children of veterans
