Accreditation & Approval
Lehigh Carbon Community College is approved as an institution of higher education by the Department of Education of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The college is authorized to award the Associate in Arts Degree, the Associate in Science Degree, the Associate in Applied Science Degree, certificates, and diplomas in specialized career areas.
2024 – 2027 Accreditation
In 2024 Lehigh Carbon Community College entered the beginning stages of the accreditation process which will culminate in 2027 per the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). This multi-year collaborative process involves important benchmarks including the creation and subsequent approval of a Self-Study Design, Self-Study Report and on-site evaluation by MSCHE.
