Since being founded in 1966, the college has operated with the belief that everyone deserves a quality education that is both accessible and affordable, and that people will have opportunities for personal and professional success. We are excited to celebrate our 60th anniversary in 2025-26, marking a milestone in the college’s history. For six decades, the college has worked with partners in business, education and community service to make our community a better place.
In addition, the LCCC Foundation is celebrating 50 years of supporting the college through student scholarships, funding for strategic initiatives and creating an environment where students can thrive.

This year also marks the beginning of our next accreditation process, in which we will document standards and processes that demonstrate our commitment to student success, workforce initiatives and financial well-being and vitality.
LCCC serves students from Lehigh, Carbon, Schuylkill and surrounding counties with two-year associate degrees, certificate and specialized diploma programs, as well as workforce training. Robust transfer agreements with four-year university partners ensure a seamless pathway to a bachelor’s degree.
