Histotechnician A.A.S. (RACC)
What is an Associate Degree in Histotechnician?
Histotechnicians are specialized lab technicians that deal specifically with diagnosis of biologic samples. The primary goal of this program is to provide the theoretical and practical training necessary to prepare a student to enter the job market as an entry-level, Histotechnician who is eligible to become a certified Histotechnician (HT) through the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
This program is offered through a shared agreement with Reading Area Community College (RACC). Admission, completion, and conferarel of degree is by RACC. General Education coursework is completed through Lehigh Carbon Community College and LCCC students pay in-county rates for their respective courses.
