Human Services A.A.S. (HUS)
Notice on Human Services A.A.S. program at LCCC
After much review, LCCC’s Human Services A.A.S. program will no longer admit new students for the Fall 2024 semester. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Prospective students interested in the field of human services are encouraged to enter the Social Work A.A. degree program for preparation to enter a baccalaureate program in social work. Student interested in training and work directly in the field of human services may enter a new Human Services Certificate Program for a more directed pathway.
Current students will be able to continue their coursework, through a teach out plan, to earn their degree. A teach-out plan will allow current first and second year students to successfully complete the program on schedule and earn their A.A.S. degree.
The Human Services Associate Degree program is accredited by the Council for Standards in Human Services Education (CSHSE).
