Workforce Center

The Center for Leadership & Workforce Development at Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) provides custom learning solutions that improve performance and support economic development in our region.We can design and implement programs in areas including Advanced Manufacturing, Safety, Leadership and Supervision, and on-line programs. We also are the regional partner for WEDnetPA funding.

Advanced Manufacturing Technology and Safety

Whether it’s enhancing the skills of the current maintenance technicians or wanting to develop an internal pipeline for the future, we can help put a plan together to meet current and future needs. Success is built upon the e-learning and Hands-On training provided using Allegheny Learning System and Amatrol Equipment. We also can do programs in industrial safety, OSHA, and forklift certification.

Leadership and Supervision Training

Serving the Lehigh Valley, Allentown, and beyond, The Center for Leadership and Workforce Development can deliver customized workshops to help in providing an inclusive positive working and learning environment. We can offer programs for new managers and supervisors to introduce them to key concepts in supervision as well as more advanced leadership training for the seasoned leader looking to take the next step.

The Center for Leadership and Workforce Development at Lehigh Carbon Community College offers various just-in-time on-line programs in areas including management and supervision, technical writing, and project management.

WEDnetPA

Lehigh Carbon Community College is a designated partner for the Workforce and Economic Development Network of Pennsylvania (WEDnetPA).This program has been funded by the PennsylvnaiaDepartment of Community and Economic Development since 1999 to provide training to manufacturing in building and enhancing key skills for manufacturing workers. This program can pay for a large portion of training that can help your workforce achieve maximum productivity.

For Spring 2017 Leadership and Management courses, attend WFB 100-51F (both 2/7 & 2/14/17) successfully, receive 1.4 CEUs and a Management and Communications Certificate.
Developing Performance Goals/Standards Course Description
