LCCC Awards Students of the Year at Commencement Ceremony

Each year, the Student of the Year award is granted to one traditional student and one Early College student who have exemplified academic excellence, hard work and a passion for learning. For 2024, Margaret Rodriguez Sanchez was named Student of the Year, and Diana Moussa was named Early College Student of the Year.

Making Their Mark in the Field

Students in Associate Professor Andrew King’s General Biology II course are immersed in an experiential learning project that is paying big dividends not only for themselves, but also for the public at large. Not to mention a grove of trees.

Accelerating to a Master’s Degree

2022 LCCC graduate, Leah Moll, got a jump start on her post-secondary education by enrolling in the Early College program, which is designed for 11th and 12th grade students to enroll full-time at LCCC for two years, thereby earning their A.A. in General Studies while simultaneously earning their high school diploma.
