LCCC Alumni Inducted into Athletics Hall of Fame

At the Homecoming game on Nov. 16, two former LCCC students were inducted into the 2019 Lehigh Carbon Community College Athletics Hall of Fame.

Ryan Kline, at left in photo, was recognized for golf, which he played in 2010 and 2011 for LCCC. While at LCCC, he majored in communications. He has the second-lowest average golf score, and tied for first in lowest single round score in LCCC history. A graduate of Kutztown High School, he transferred to Kutztown University after LCCC to earn his bachelor’s degree in speech communications. Since college, he has played on several professional tours and works at his family-owned Sittler Golf Center in Sinking Spring, Pa.

David Behler, at right in photo, was recognized for baseball, playing for LCCC in 2011 and 2012. He majored in business administration at LCCC and is a graduate of Lehighton High School. He is the all-time leader in strikeouts for Cougars baseball. After LCCC, he transferred to Arcadia University, where be played two more seasons and earned his bachelor’s degree in business. He was an assistant baseball coach for the LCCC Cougars in 2016 and 2017. He is now a project manager in the energy industry.
