Financial Aid Policies
To be eligible to receive financial aid, you must remain compliant with policies set by both LCCC and the federal government. Failure to comply with these policies may result in your financial aid being revoked or the loss of financial aid eligibility. Learn more about these policies.
Academic Progress Policy
Federal regulations require that you maintain satisfactory academic progress to be eligible for financial aid. This is calculated by the maximum length of time you may receive financial aid, the number of credit hours you’ve successfully completed, and the minimum cumulative grade point average you must maintain.
Class Attendance Policy
You must attend class on a regular basis to remain eligible to receive financial aid.
Withdrawal Policy
Failing or withdrawing from a class may impact your financial aid or require you to repay some or all of your financial aid to the college.
Drug Conviction Policy
If you are convicted of the possession or sale of illegal drugs while receiving financial aid, you will lose your eligibility for financial aid in the future.
LCCC Staff Code of Conduct
In addition to student policies, LCCC’s staff is also held to a strict code of conduct concerning financial aid and loans.
